I was born and raised in Germany and moved to Washington in 2014, where my husband and I have truly found our home. I am blessed with two daughters and seven grandchildren who continue to inspire my love for nurturing and guiding young children. My journey working with children began in 1995 through my church, and since then, caring for children has been my lifelong passion. Over the years, I have provided childcare in my home, served as a nanny for three wonderful families, and for the past seven years, worked as an Infant Teacher and Infant Team Manager in a daycare setting. I am certified in Safe Sleep, Food Handling, Bloodborne Pathogens, AIDS/HIV, Adult and Infant CPR, and First Aid, and I have completed the required 30 hours of STARS training, along with 10 hours of annual continuing education. I take great pride in creating a nurturing, safe, and developmentally supportive environment for every child in my care, helping them grow with confidence and love.

I can't say enough good things about Valeska. She provided full-time in-home care for our twins starting at age 4 months through 20 months. Unfortunately, our needs have changed, otherwise we'd happily continue. Our twins were preemies that needed medicine administered during the day, which Valeska easily handled. She always arrived early for work. When the twins got older, Valeska did a great job handling lunches, snacks, and games that teach. She always kept us well-informed about what the kiddos ate and did during the day, which was great! Our twins are excited to see Valeska when she gets here in the mornings, which made it easier to leave for work. Valeska was reliable, hard-working, conscientious, good communicator, and fun (for the twins). She regularly checked with us to see if we wanted her to do things differently. All around, more than I ever hoped for. Thank you!
