About Valerie

For the past six years, I've had the joy of caring for children aged newborn to 11, with a special focus on toddlers and preschoolers. My approach is to always be patient and calm and to encourage creativity and imagination. I love engaging kids with outdoor activities, board games, crafting, and lots of educational activities. I'm comfortable caring for up to two children and happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, carpooling, travel, and swimming supervision. I am experienced with diaper changes, feeding schedules, and nap times with infants and toddlers. Communication is key, and I'll keep you updated on your child's day using your preferred method, whether it's a quick chat at pickup or regular texts. I hold current First Aid and CPR Training and have completed my bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. As a certified teacher, I bring a unique perspective to childcare.
