About Valerie

Learning alongside students is my passion. With three years of experience, I believe every student has unique potential. I empower students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills for long-term success. I actively listen and observe to assess a student's individual learning style, then vary my teaching strategies. Connecting challenging topics to real-world examples keeps students motivated. Communication builds trust, so I provide regular updates to parents. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding part of being a tutor. I have a college degree and can help with Math, English, Computers, and History at the elementary level. I am CPR trained and certified in First Aid. I look forward to helping your child thrive!
