I truly love dogs. I have two dogs of my own. Both are boys and 10 years old. My dogs are mature and very warm to other dogs visiting our home. One is 19 lbs. and the other is 28 lbs. I have been pet sitting for the past 14 years. I have sat at clients homes as well as sat at my own home. I have also had jobs that just required that I go to the clients home and walk the dog and give food as well as fresh water. I have dealt with many breeds, from very large (100 lbs) to small breeds (10 lbs). I have watched dogs in the past that required diabetic shots and other that required seizure medication. I am very careful and follow all instructions and desires of the pet owner. One of my clients want their pet placed in a kennel while I go to work or step outside the house. I consider dogs as part of the family. When I sit at my house, the dogs visiting become part of the family with my dogs and I. They sleep indoors on several clean dog beds and play with our dog toys. Owners also bring their own pet's beds and toys if that makes the pet feel more at home. That is what I want, for the dog to be relaxed and feel at home. I had one couple leave three dogs with me for a week. By the end of the first day, all five dogs were exploring the backyard and playing together.
