About Valerie

My journey into childcare began with babysitting and grew through my experience as a camp counselor, where I worked closely with children ages 4-11 in structured, active environments. With over three years of experience, I bring a patient, calm, and creative approach to every interaction. I enjoy engaging children through board games, puzzles, and educational activities that make learning fun. I am comfortable caring for up to two children at a time and can assist with cooking, meal preparation, light housekeeping, carpooling, travel support, and swimming supervision. I am certified in CPR and First Aid. I always follow the parents' lead when enforcing household rules and can communicate updates verbally at pickup or via your preferred method. I speak both English and Spanish. My goal is to provide a safe, enriching environment where children feel supported and can thrive, and to become a trusted and reliable caregiver for your family.
