Children's ages: (M) 6mo-2yo, (F) 3-5 Full Time M-F Recommend: Yes Valerie was our nanny for over two years and was a wonderful addition to our family for our newborn. She was sensitive to our specific needs with a preemie and often was involved with special care that was required (monitoring milestones, PT/OT appointments). On a daily basis, she was responsible for meals, snacks, sleep schedules, cleaning up after the children, and creating developmental appropriate learning and activities. She also volunteered on the weekends to teach our oldest how to swim, would take them to the parks/aquariums/gardens, etc. We could always rely on her for additional time if needed, as well. Personality-wise, she takes cues from the parents and will follow any rules you lay out for her. Her approach is to integrate into a family rather than adding new rules/guidelines to an already complex situation. She is very adaptable to a family's requirements.
