About Valerie

Hi! My name is Val, and I am a 20-year-old nursing major with a love for pet-care looking to care for your pups this summer! I currently am working at a pet lodge, where my responsibilities require socializing with, caring for, and cleaning up after dogs and cats of all sizes and personalities. I follow strict feeding schedules and administer medication when needed to animals staying at our resort for either just the day, or for multiple nights. I have also regularly petsat and boarded animals for weeks at a time, keeping them active & safe in my care. I have experience working with nonprofit organizations where I followed scheduled feedings, cleaned up accidents, provided enrichment, helped prepare pups for adoption, and made sure they all were stimulated and comfortable. I have reliable transportation and will thoroughly enjoy any given opportunity to spend time with fur-babies! I am extremely accommodating and flexible, and can work around any last-minute plans or predicaments.
