About Valerie

I'd describe my personality as friendly, loving, and patient. I like working with infants because they bring me pure joy! My kids are all grown up and I can't wait until it's my time to have grandkids. I'm looking for a job that I can do at my house a couple days a week and provide the love and nurturing that you would if you weren't working. I started working with kids when I was 12 years old. I went to college, got my teaching degree and have taught on and off while my kids were growing up. I was mostly a stay at home mom until my children were older. I have worked at Beacon Christian Academy in many capacities since 2018 and I have volunteered in the nursery at my church since I was old enough to do so. In my spare time, I like to read, go to the beach, watch movies and get together with friends/family. One thing you should know about me is I will love and take care of your child like they were my own. My skills include patience, unconditional love, and I am very clean.
