About Valerie

Hello Im Val and Im glad your here! I have worked with children, teens and young adults in my community for more than 15 years. I have a BA in Liberal Studies with emphasis on arts in education(2013). Most recently I worked as a living skills instructor with youth who identify on the autism spectrum. I taught english abroad (2015-17). I have cared for children after the loss of a parent, taught teenagers to drive and changed diapers. Not much scares me anymore. I have no children of my own but have been blessed to be the Mary Poppins for many families over the years. I am comfortable and capable of assisting with child/family centered domestic chores. I look forward to finding a family who could use my kind of magic.
