About Valerie

Empowering young learners to find joy in discovery is the cornerstone of my teaching practice. With three years of experience supporting elementary students in English and History, I focus on building confidence rather than simple memorization. I create an engaging, patient environment where we break down complex concepts into manageable steps to build momentum. To ensure success, I adapt my methods by incorporating visual aids, hands-on activities, and interactive discussions tailored to your child's unique needs. I believe clear, consistent communication with parents is essential to foster a collaborative environment. There is nothing more rewarding than witnessing a student's "aha!" moment or watching their confidence grow as they master new skills. I am available to meet at your home or a local coffee shop to help your student reach their academic goals. I truly look forward to supporting your child's journey toward long-term success.
