About Valerie
I have been an Honors student throughout my educational career and maintained a GPA of 3. 7 or above. I took Honors classes every year of high school and passed 3 AP tests. I graduated with Honors from College of the Canyons and obtained an Associate's degree in Biological and Physical Sciences. My Bachelor's degree in Natural Resource Management is from CSU Chico, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude. After college, I began teaching science at outdoor science schools and museum education programs. I graduated from UNC with a Master's in Education in 2017 and now I teach 3rd grade.
