About Valerie

I'd describe my personality as calm, reliable and empathetic. I like caring for seniors because they are underserved and I have great respect for my elders. I love taking care of people, both children and the elderly. I'm looking for a job that enriches my life, provides good service, provides stability and works with everyone's schedule involved. I started caring for seniors when I was a teenager. I would do light housekeeping, running errands, medical appointments and general companionship for my 80-year-old grandmother. I became a Medical Assistant, and worked in patient care for 20 years, many of those patients being elderly. I also cared for my parents, and mother in law while they were in Palliative and Hospice care. In my spare time, I like to volunteer at my youngest child school, involved with PTA, reading, and arts and crafts. One thing you should know about me is I am caring, loving, and dedicated. My skills include prescription management, cooking, and cleaning.
