Hi, I'm Valerie! Working with people to see they are happy and comfortable is one of my greatest strengths. With over 5 years of experience, I offer exceptional care and am committed to the well-being and independence of adults. My graduate degree in counseling, and experience working with disabled people, gives me a great foundation for this type of care. I am patient, compassionate, approachable and respectful. I provide respite care, transportation, errands, light housekeeping, meal organization, and medication management. I am flexible and can adapt to changing routines. When possible I respond to situations with a smile and humor. I always follow the family's preferred communication method to provide any updates. I have a car and I'm comfortable with pets. I find great fulfillment in helping families. I look forward to providing reliable care for your loved one.
