About Valerie

Unlocking a student's unique potential through personalized support is the foundation of my teaching philosophy. Over the past three years, I have cultivated an engaging and patient environment where students feel empowered to master critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I assess individual learning styles by observing how you interact with new material and maintaining open communication about what methods work best for you. When concepts become challenging, I bridge the gap by connecting topics to your personal interests and breaking complex problems into manageable, rewarding steps. I believe consistent dialogue with both you and your parents is essential for tracking progress and ensuring we reach your goals together. Whether we are exploring history or refining English skills, I find my greatest reward in witnessing your "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks. I truly look forward to helping you succeed on your academic journey.
