Hey there! My name is Valerie, I am an aspiring English teacher for the secondary level. I am a substitute teacher for CCISD but it's summer now! My experience with children goes back to 2019 when I was a camp coach for Islander Camp at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi. Last summer I jumped back into the recreational camp scene with the Corpus Christi Athletic Club for Kids Camp where I also worked Kids Club, their childcare center. The age range of kids I am familiar with is 6 months - 12 years of age. Also, I am CPR/First Aid certified! A little bit about myself.. I am 26 years old, graduated from Veterans Memorial High School and I am currently enrolled at TAMUCC. I love being at the beach, trying new restaurants, or going for a run during my spare time! When I'm not doing those things I work as a retail associate. I am hoping to create a fun/safe environment for your kiddos &make connections in the process serving families in Corpus Christi.
