About Valerie

Bringing joy and nurturing care to children is my passion! Being a young grandma now to three and my years of experience caring for children aged newborn to 18, plus my college degree, have equipped me with the skills to provide a safe and engaging environment for your little ones. I was a nanny in New York for a year in 1989. I have worked in the school district in the special education teacher aide and have babysit many of children through my life. I'm patient, creative, and approachable. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, and educational activities. I am happy to help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and carpooling. I have taken numerous courses in First Aid and CPR Training in the military and with my massage license. I will communicate with you in your preferred way, whether it's a quick chat at pickup or regular updates via text. I am comfortable enforcing household rules and will always discuss any concerns with you to find common ground. I hope we connect.
