About Valeria

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. I hold a college degree and specialize in English, foreign language, and study skills for elementary and middle school students. By actively listening and observing how a student interacts with new material, I tailor my methods to fit their unique needs. I keep lessons engaging by connecting complex concepts to real-world interests and celebrating every small victory along the way. I believe clear, open communication with both you and your child is essential to building the trust necessary for academic growth. Witnessing that "aha!" moment when a student finally masters a challenging skill is the most rewarding part of my work. I am comfortable working with pets and look forward to supporting your child's journey toward becoming a confident, curious learner.
