About Valeria

Hi! My name is Valeria! I'm currently working toward my bachelor's degree in psychology and have about 10 years of experience caring for children of all ages. Working with kids is something I genuinely enjoy, and I love getting to know each child and their personality. I like to follow their lead, learn what they enjoy, and come up with games and activities based on their interests. I also value having a good relationship with parents. I follow their lead with household rules and expectations, but I'm comfortable helping with challenging behaviors and sharing ideas when needed. I believe the best approach is working together as a team to find what works best for the child and family. I'm also happy to help with meals and light housekeeping. I'm excited to continue doing something I love while pursuing my degree!
