I was raised by parents who showed me every day what it meant to care for others, not with big gestures but with steady kindness and generosity. Their example shaped my heart and led me naturally into nursing -- a place where I can offer comfort, presence, and compassion just as they taught me. Caring for people feels like coming home to the values I grew up with. One of the sweetest parts of my life is Rocket, my affectionate little whippet.
