About Valarie

Learning is a journey, and I'm passionate about guiding students toward their full potential. With a college degree and three years of experience, I create engaging and supportive learning environments where confidence and a love for learning thrive. I adapt my teaching methods to suit individual learning styles by actively listening and using visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions. By celebrating small successes, I keep students motivated, even when subjects get tough. Communication is key, and I provide regular updates to keep everyone informed. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding part of tutoring. I have a car, am comfortable with pets, and can tutor at your home, a center, or online. I offer assistance in science, computers, special education, and study skills for elementary, middle school, and adult learners. I am CPR and First Aid trained. I'd love to partner with you to help your student succeed!
