About Vaela

People write good reviews for many reasons. My reason is simply this: Vaela is a miracle worker. She was a miracle for my friend for whom she cared with deep devotion, courage in difficult times, encouraging when my friend was despondent. I had the pleasure of watching Vaela with my friend in many situations - cooking for her, taking care of her meds, walking her dogs with her, taking her on car rides when my friend couldn’t stand to be in the house where she lost her husband recently, I saw her ability to stand firm with my friend when she became oppositional which, with dementia , she could do. My friend loved Vaela. She thought of her as a daughter. Vaela had the “ patience of Job” with my friend. Other caregivers had previously worked with my friends’ husband before he died - some were excellent and caring, but I’ve never seen or heard of a caregiver who has the compassion, skills, and love-yes, love, to offer the person that she cares for. I could only hope that when my time comes Vaela will be available for me. She truly is a miracle worker. Anyone fortunate enough to have her care for them is blessed indeed..
