After a formal education in Germany I enjoyed working as an au pair in Geneva Switzerland to enhance my French knowledge but was placed in an English speaking family who resided in Geneva. I cared for a 12-month-old girl , who as a result of premature birth suffered from delayed physical and intellectual development. More recently I provided respite care for the military community. I assisted with Aspergers Syndrome, also delayed mental development. I also provided senior care for the last 10 years through a home health care agency for an individual who suffered from Alzheimer's. Through experience I have learned that patience, observation, skill and ample love and kindness are the key ingredients to care for patients of all ages.
