About Ushasi

Nurturing young minds and fostering their development is my passion. My previous babysitting experiences solidified my desire to positively impact children's lives. I have three years of experience caring for children, and I am comfortable caring for two children at a time. I'm patient, calm, friendly, and approachable. I communicate with parents at pickup, provide updates via text or phone call, and/or follow their preferred communication methods. I follow the parents' lead regarding household rules. I enjoy playing board games, outdoor activities, and DIY crafts. I'm happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and swimming supervision. My primary language is English, but I am fluent in Bengali and proficient in ASL. I have First Aid Training, CPR Training, and I have been a Nursing Assistant (with pediatric experience) for 8 years. I'm currently in grad school & would love to use my skills to care for your child and create a fun, safe, and enriching environment!
