About Urban

Hello families my name is Urban . I am 18 years old and have had a year of experience when it comes to working with children. I have worked in preschools and a teachers assistant as well as worked in camps as a coaching assistant and a camp counselor. During my experience as a teachers assistant I was able to learn how to communicate with the kids in a kind and caring manner while also remaining strict at the same time. My time as a teachers assistant and as a coaching assistant allowed me to see the impact that playing with the kids could have on how comfortable they are with you. Playing with the kids allows for you to not only keep an eye on them but also allows you to engage with them as well. Working with kids is a joy for me because being it allows me to hear different perspectives and hear the creativity that the kids have whether it be in the car or with their favorite toys, hearing the different stories that children come up with always brings me joy.
