About Uma

Hello! My name is Uma, and I'm a born-and-raised Austinite and UT Longhorn passionate about childcare. I have full time experience working with newborns and infants (3+ months), toddlers (1+), and pre-K and elementary school ages (4-9). I am a nature and music lover, and am enthusiastic about facilitating children's creativity in and outside the home. I enjoy planning developmentally appropriate activities when approved by parents, taking children on near outdoor activities, and helping kids of all ages explore and learn. I utilize my education in Liberal Arts Honors and Geography to help children explore their own ideas and their physical world, and love helping families find a healthy balance between work and home life. I have experience with bottle feeding and sterilization, light meal prep and household administrative activities.
