Hi there! I'm Uma! I taught 2nd grade for 7 years at a private Christian school. Also, I was a Kindergarten teacher assistant at a private Christian school for 2 years. Currently, I'm an instructional aide at a public school. I have one son who is 18 years old and I have a miniature husky. I have a lot of experience working with kids and toddlers for the past 10 years. During my school break I have provided childcare to parents who needed someone to babysit their kids while they were at work. I truly love working with kids, and I approach each child as an individual who I get to help grow and teach. I can provide references upon request. Uma did a great job caring for my 7 year old son and my 3 year old daughter. She was on time, had a great way about her, very professional and instantly engaged with my kids. After she left my kids gave her great feedback and said they would love having her babysit them again. I felt very comfortable with her right away and absolutely plan to have her babysit my children again.
