About Tyya

Hello! My name is Tyya and I am currently enrolled at NMU and just completed my second year studying elementary education with a minor is psychology! And I am also on the women's hockey team. I have years of child work experience as personal babysitters, personal hockey coach, day camp counsellors, and even daycare teacher assistants. So I am very experienced with working with children from all ages ranging from infants, to preteens! I enjoy being active whether this means- working out, being outside, having fun, playing hockey, and more! I absolutely adore working in childcare as I believe the early ages are extremely crucial for long-term development in a child, so being able to be a part of a child's journey is such a reward within itself!
