About Tyler

Hi! I'm Tyler, a dedicated tutor with 10+ years of experience helping students succeed. I earned AA degrees in Sociology and Administration of Justice from Ventura College and a BA in Political Science with honors from CSU Channel Islands, where I was part of Pi Sigma Alpha, Model United Nations, and served as Academic Chair mentoring fellow students. I later earned my JD from the Ventura & Santa Barbara Colleges of Law, passed the MPRE, and remain in good standing with the CA State Bar. My tutoring style is patient, structured, and adaptable. I focus on true understanding--not memorization--by breaking down concepts, using real-world examples, and building strong study and test-taking skills. I work with students of all ages and create a positive, supportive environment where they feel confident and motivated to succeed.
