About Tyler

I'd describe my personality as sincere, enthusiastic, and silly. I like working with kids because I can bring my full self to work, and I always get to learn about new ways to think about the world. Kids ask important questions and remind us to live in the moment. I started working with kids 20 years ago when my nextdoor neighbor asked if I'd like to nanny for their family. I loved hanging out with their kids and started offering child care to other friends with young children who needed a safe and affordable option for their growing families. One thing you should know about me is that I am adamantly covid cautious and regularly mask in public. My skills include trauma-informed care, behavioral health and case management experience with children and families, and crisis response. I work at a school during the week and am looking to supplement my existing schedule with regular evening and weekend childcare.
