I'd describe my personality as sincere, enthusiastic, and silly. I like working with kids because I can bring my full self to work, and I always get to learn about new ways to think about the world. Kids ask important questions and remind us to live in the moment. I started working with kids 20 years ago when my nextdoor neighbor asked if I'd like to nanny for their family. I loved hanging out with their kids and started offering child care to other friends with young children who needed a safe and affordable option for their growing families. I am particularly passionate about supporting families with queer and neurodivergent teenagers.
