About Tyler

I like working with kids because I believe all children deserve safe and supportive care, and I am lucky enough that it happens to be the gift and passion I was given in this world. I started working with kids when I was 11, and progressed to having experience in babysitting, student teaching, and other childcare. My skills include teaching including life skills such as cooking, laundry, age-appropriate exercise, and academics from kindergarten to high school levels. I have an American Heart Association Heart Saver certification and I am very confident in taking any necessary measures to keep people safe. I am knowledgeable of various parenting styles such as authoritative, gentle parenting, and "crunchy" parenting. However you describe your home dynamics, I am interested in learning them and working to uphold those same values in my care.
