About Tyla

For a while, my grandfather lived at home with me and family while he was going through heart failure and open heart surgery. I assisted him with medicines, meals and anything else he needed. I love helping everyone I can and just putting a smile on people's faces. I love cooking, baking and cleaning! I am passionate about serving others and building meaningful relationships with the people I care for. Through my volunteer work in nursing homes, I have provided companionship and emotional support to individuals living with dementia. In addition to my volunteer experience, I currently serve as a caregiver for five nuns in their 90s. My responsibilities include providing transportation, grocery shopping, coordinating and attending medical appointments, managing paperwork, assisting with personal hygiene, cleaning and maintaining their apartments, and supporting their daily living needs.
