About Tye

I have a Masters degree in Rhetoric, Writing, and Digital Media Studies. My original plan was to teach at a university, but life has taken me in a very different direction. I want to connect with students on an individual basis and have the freedom to educate them in the way that best suits their needs. As a lifelong student myself, I am always seeking knowledge. When someone is seeking knowledge from me, I will go above and beyond to provide the information, lead them to sources, and educate myself further as needed. the most important part of learning is to inspire them to see the magic in the mundane, children and adults alike. Homework can be a drag! I teach study skills and support the whole person, adapting methods as needed.
