About Tya

I have been a nanny for six years now working with kids of all ages but predominantly ages 0-3. I enjoy caring for the physical needs and safety of children but mostly I love being a loving and comforting person in their lives while nurturing their growth as they turn into little people. I am passionate about children's development and genuinely have such a fun time watching how quickly and constantly they observe and soak in so much from the world around them! I earned my degree in exercise science from University of Texas in 2021 and my studies did include some child development. I began nannying in college and I have continued to do so since. I volunteer with Child Advocates/CASA working with children who are in the welfare system. Volunteering consists communicating with all parties on the case, visiting and getting to know the children, and ultimately advocating for their best interests to a judge.
