About Tya

I have been a nanny for six years. I am experienced with all ages but the majority of my time has been spent with babies and toddlers. Plenty of experience with multiple kids at once as well! I love caring for the safety and wellbeing of children but I most enjoy being a loving and comfortable presence in their lives. I am passionate about development and genuinely have such a fun time not only watching how quickly and constantly they are learning and growing but nurturing that growth appropriately as well. As a caregiver I have a role in childhood experiences and that is a responsibility I do not take lightly. I graduated in 2021 from UT Austin with an Exercise Science degree which involved a bit of child development! I began nannying in college and I have been since. I volunteer with CASA - advocating for kids in the welfare system. I visit and get to know the child and their needs, communicate with others on the case, attend court, and often testify. I can provide references!
