It is my honor to write a review for Trufina J. We heard about Tru from a hospice nurse who had work with her before. We needed care for our mom who was in hospice but living at home. From the first day we knew we had founde a wonderful lady. She is always on time. Experienced in dispensing drugs, using inhalers and oxygen machines. She fixed mom wonderful meals. Mom loved her (we all do!). She kept mom company and engaged all day. She became a good friend and we are going to miss her. She is so kind and thoughtful and got along well with everyone. I highly recommend her to anyone needing help with aging parents. She is a “tru” gem!  I can’t thank her enough for all she did for mom and family too. 

Trufina goes beyond just care but spreads love to her patients and family. If you want someone who not only is experienced caregiver but really cares I highly recommend her!

I can’t say enough good things about Tru and her caretaking services. She came into our lives when we needed her most. She took such good care of my aunt I know she extended her life. She is caring, loving and attentive. She is detailed and organized and made sure my aunt had anything and everything she needed to be comfortable and well cared for. I’m forever grateful for her. 

Trufina worked helping take care of my mother for at least two years.  She was wonderful.  Always kind, very knowledgeable, capable and dependable.  My mother came to love here right too the end.

We were so lucky to find Tru on Care.com. Tru has been a wonderful caregiver for our father.  She started with us in March and worked with us through his recent passing at age 95 (approximately 6 months). Tru has tremendous kindness, she is very positive, she is experienced with care for elderly, and she communicates well with the family and other care givers (our dad was in a assisted living/memory care facility). She made suggestions about his care that were very helpful. Our dad felt her kindness and caring and that is such a comfort to me now that he is gone. I give her my highest recommendation!

Trufina cared for my father who was in the early stages of dementia and had minor residual health impacts from a stroke. He was in his 90s when she started caring for him. She cared for him until he passed away, more than 6 years later. She was loving, kind and patient. In these, his last years she helped him to enjoy activities that were a special part of his life before becoming ill, such as going to church, being outdoors, boating, enjoying family, etc. There isn't enough room to describe all of what she did, e.g., household tasks (including, but not limited to laundry), prepared meals and fed him, bathed him, provided transportation to doctors, etc. She went above and beyond expectations. She advocated for him when he was hospitalized, assisted with the selection and hiring of his additional health aids, etc. It is without reservation, that I recommend Truifina. You and your loved one would be beyond blessed to have her.  She is a special person who is fully living her purpose.

Trufina is an extremely caring & down-to-earth person. We worked together for many years & she always held high standards for trustworthiness & reliability. While working with the elderly, situations & statuses can sometimes change, and Trufina can always adapt & help out. She's full of laughter & can bring a glow to any environment.

She is very sweet, patient and the perfect person to take care of your loved one. Reliable, dependable and very knowledgeable about Healthcare related issues. I would definitely recommend her without hesitation!
