About Trisha

For as long as I can remember, I have always been surrounded by or working with children. Working with children has always felt like my destiny. Even if I had another occupation, something would happen and I would end up working with kids again. I honestly just love kids. I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old, for neighbors, family members, etc. It was always something that came so easy to me. During high school, I attended Child Development classes, and also attended a Vocational School for Child Care. Although, I worked in other fields, such as banking, Real Estate Law/Personal Injury and mortgage companies, I always continued to babysit on the side for many. In 2008, I started working at privately owned daycare in Long Island, NY. I worked there for 9 months before relocating to Baltimore, Maryland. Soon after the move, I started nannying for 3 families. (I worked for one family on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The other 2 were a nanny share on Tuesdays and Fridays). For about 2 years, I became a housekeeper as well to one of those families. I honestly love all that I do for these families. Knowing I've made their lives easier in any way has been a big reward, but the relationships I've built with these children and their families have become the biggest reward. A few couples have told me they have peace of mind knowing their children and home are always in very good hands. I have just recently moved back home to Long Island to be closer to family. I'm currently not working, so my availability is open.
