About Trisha

Hi! I'm Trisha, a certified Educational Diagnostician and Special Education teacher with 9+ years of experience supporting students with diverse academic and learning needs. I hold a Master's degree in Special Education and have worked with elementary and middle school students in self-contained, resource, inclusion, and homebound settings. I provide individualized support in reading, writing, math, homework, organization, executive functioning, and academic IEP goals. I have extensive experience with students with IEPs/504 Plans, dyslexia, learning disabilities, ADHD, autism, and other learning needs. My approach is patient, encouraging, and structured. I focus on identifying where a student is struggling, breaking concepts into manageable steps, and building skills, confidence, and independence. I offer virtual and in-person K-8 tutoring, with in-person sessions held at an agreed-upon public location.
