I have always had a passion for working with the elderly and special populations. I have a true desire to love and care for my clients. I have worked in assisted living, as a resident's assistant in the past, provided home care and personal aid in living centers, and I am currently working as a cardiac rehab therapist/exercise specialist at a local health system. I studied exercise in Diabetes and Parkinsons extensively, and have knowledge in, and a deep passion for, exercise in special populations. I also hold a senior fitness specialist certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I believe that exercise is medicine and should be incorporated into daily care of my clients (to their ability).
