About Trinity

Hi there, my name is Trinity and I'm a graduate student at UTA. I'm excited to meet you! I started out in animal science as a pre-vet student, but eventually realized my passion lied in working with youth. I transferred to a new school where I obtained my BA in Psychology and worked as a Youth Care Specialist at a GRO. My goal with every child is to provide a safe and supportive environment where they can make mistakes, get messy, and have fun. I have experience working with all ages; with my additional experience in meat processing and physiology courses, I am not afraid to get my hands dirty (literally)! Whenever I've been asked about my work in child welfare, I tell people that my kids have taught me more about life than anything I've ever done. They are the most resilient, raw, and incredibly funny people I've had the privilege to work with, and I love them to my bones. Working with kids has given me a greater understanding of the power of human connection, empathy, and care.
