Hello! I am a reading specialist with a Masters of Education in Reading. I hold a current CA Multiple Subject Teaching Credential as well as a Reading and Literacy Leadership Specialist credential. Additionally, I have specialized dyslexia training from Neuhaus Education Center in Houston. While I specialize in reading tutoring for Pre-K through 6th grade, I can also help with math including Algebra and Geometry. I am a professional tutor with 14 years of tutoring experience and 5 years of classroom teaching experience. My tutoring style is highly individualized to meet the needs and personality of each child. I can assess your child's reading abilities and come up with an action plan to help build confidence and reading skills. I also do reading evaluations for home school families to provide recommendations for improving reading ability. I am available for both in-person and online tutoring.
