About Trese

Learning alongside students is my passion. For three years, I have helped elementary students thrive in Math, English, and Special Education. As a graduate-degreed, certified teacher, I focus on building confidence and fostering a love for learning. I adapt my teaching through active listening, observation, and various strategies, including visual aids and hands-on activities. I also connect challenging topics to real-world examples. Communication is essential, so I maintain open dialogue with students and parents. I am trained in Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and student accommodation plans (504). CPR training and First Aid. The most rewarding part is witnessing a student's "aha!" moment. I'm happy to tutor at your home, online, a library, or a coffee shop. I would love to help your student discover the joy of learning!
