I have been a Registered Nurse for 30 yrs. Most of that time I have been working with the elderly. I have a large knowledge base of disease that affects the elderly such as dementia an Alzheimer's. I am looking for work in someone's home or nursing home. I would consider myself loving, caring, patient, dependable, attention to detail. I feel like I would be a exceptional candidate because has have all those years of assessment skills that others may not pick up on. I can do skilled as well as none skilled care. I have been working for myself in the home setting for the last 5 yrs on a private pay basis ( prefer cash). I know caring for a loved one care be overwhelming an sometimes you just need a break. I do prefer day shift but I can be a little flexible with that.
