I have worked 14+ years with ages 6 - 50. I have worked with a variety of special needs (behavioral, autism, Down syndrome, and other areas) children and adults for about 12 years. I have also babysat for about 14+ years, from newborn to about 12-years-old. I enjoy spending time with others. I am compassionate, patient, trustworthy, honest, responsible and fun. I help with homework, and enjoy playing outside and board games. I also enjoyed crafts, reading, creative fun, and everything Disney. I am looking for full or part-time. I have had 2 special needs position through Care. com. One was for an autistic child from ages 7-12, until they moved. The other was for a 16-year-old with Down syndrome, and I have references for both. I have been practicing social distancing, only grocery shopping, and I always wear a mask. To whom it may concern, Traci watched my children for about a year. She would still be watching my children had my circumstances not changed. She is a wonderful person. She is so caring and kind. When I was looking for a caregiver, I had never had the need before. I was very nervous but as soon as Traci and I started talking I was put as ease. I did not know until later that she was very nervous as well. I wanted to be sure that my children liked the person that would be with them for most of the time as I worked nights and my husband was overseas for most of the year. My children came up and pulled Traci's hand so there was no choice for her to go and play. She was wonderful! My daughter kept calling her Aunt Traci because she liked her so much. I asked my daughter what she thought, and she said that she would have so much fun with Traci and she wanted to play with her every day! Traci is an amazing woman. Give her a chance and you will not be disappointed! She is WONDERFUL!
