About Tracie

I have worked as a private tutor for many years. This includes experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and children with attention difficulties and learning disabilities. I am skilled in creative approaches to specialized learning and teaching strategies. I have tutored at learning centers, schools and homes. I have substantial experience in focusing on language arts. This includes various stages of reading and comprehension as well as writing fundamentals. I am skilled in providing instruction in this area and adapting materials as needed for each student. I also have experience addressing executive functioning skills, test prep and elementary math skills. My current focus is mostly for elementary-middle school ages.
