Hello. My name is Tracey. I've spent the last four years caring for a wonderful woman with dementia. I manage all of her doctor appointments and her many medications. I follow up with all refill requests, organize, label and set her meds for an entire week, as well as do her medication prompting throughout the day. I do her marketing, her laundry, meal prep, fill her pool & hummingbird feeders and manage/coordinate work to be done on her home. I consider myself a caregiver and personal assistant with a touch of house manager tossed in as needed. It has been an honor caring for her at the stage of her life. However, her family will be needing to place her in a memory care facility here soon and they will be "weaning her off" of me. So, I need to begin my search for my next person to care for. Tracey has been with us for one and a half years now as a caregiver to Ida who is 86 years old. She has been absolutely terrific in her job. She is very even-keel in her temperament and always has a positive can-do attitude. Tracey is also an excellent problem solver with a lot of common sense. She is very caring and gives 100% to her duties every day. Tracey multitasks very well and is very efficient in all her tasks. She has become part of the family and is very trustworthy. I don't know how we could get along without her!
