About Tori

Hello! I'm Tori, a class of 22 graduate from UMD with a degree in Government and Politics, went to law school for a year then left to pursue nursing! I've been working and have become a CNA, starting nursing school this January 2026. I have been a nanny thus far but would like to transition to more senior care, using my CNA whilst I go through school. I have experience taking care of my grandmother, who had eventually progressed to non-verbal dementia, with her activities of daily living, provided companionship, tidying of the house, and management of her medication. With having both sets of grandparents alive and my experience in CNA clinical at the nursing home, what makes the most difference when caring for older individuals is meaningful conversations and trusting relationships. I find it so rewarding to be able to care for those of the oldest generation, learning from them their experiences and wisdom and, most importantly, being a listening ear and providing support.
