I enjoy being with people of all ages. My particular training includes: * Hospice volunteer in 1997 including palliative massage *CPR/EMT in 2000 *LMT-NY in 2004 I am a mother to a 24-year-old son. My past experience includes caring for newborns, young children, paraplegic resulting from traumatic brain injury, elderly parents in end of life care. I am comfortable with all aspects of daily personal care including feeding/bathing/dressing. The diversity in my background provides a wide range of options for folks looking to meet their needs for caregiving. I live in Riverhead and hope to provide care to someone in the neighboring areas of: Calverton, Baiting Hollow, Aquabogue, Jamesport, S. Jamesport, Wading River. Toqui started working with us during COVID when it was almost impossible to find a caregiver and she was truly God sent! She cared for my elderly mom with advanced dementia as if she were her own mom. She was always kind, always capable, very resourceful and dependable. Most importantly, she enriched mom's life and allowed her to live her fullest life, despite the disease she was fighting. We could not have gotten through such a difficult chapter in our lives without Toqui. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for the very best caregiver!
