About Tony

Hi, I'm a Dad retired from engineering with a passion to help students understand math and science with patience and flexibility. I hold an engineering physics degree from the Cornell University and optical engineering degree from the University of Rochester, but more importantly I can explain tough concepts at a relatable and doable level. I spent 2 years as a substitute teacher for middle school and high school in Williamson and Marion while raising my kids before they were school age. Whether the student needs help catching up, staying motivated, or just having someone to guide them through homework, I tailor my approach to their learning style and interests. I can work closely with you and their teachers to make sure they're supported every step of the way. I enjoy doing this to pay it forward for the help I received in school.
