Caring for others is more than a job to me; it's a calling inspired by my grandmother's needs after her knee replacement. My aunt suggested I get paid for it, so I enrolled to become a certified nursing aide, then a home health aide, and finally, a certified medication aide. With three years of experience, I provide home health and hospice services, including light housekeeping, meal preparation, dementia care, and medical management. I am compassionate, empathetic, friendly, and detail-oriented. I prioritize creating a comfortable environment for my care recipients. I adapt to changing routines, de-escalate stressful situations, and handle confusion with patience.
