About Tonya

I like working with kids because it comes very natural to me. I started babysitting at a very early age. I knew early on that working with children was something I wanted to do long term. I graduated college with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Elementary Education. I'm about to finish my 18th year as an elementary teacher. In my opinion I have the best job, as I get to see children learn and grow daily. I get to see the smiles on their faces when they finally understand something for the first time, and just knowing that I had a small part in making that happen, is the greatest feeling one can have. I'm looking for a job where I can serve in various capacities. I am a mother of multiple children, so I know how overwhelming it can be at times. So whatever I can do to alleviate worry or stress. I would like a job where I can take children for outings such as, the movies, water park, mall, lunch, library and or day camps.
