About Tonya

Making a positive difference in people's lives is my calling. With three years of experience supporting adults and seniors, I bring compassion and empathy to every interaction. I adapt to changing routines and handle challenging situations with patience and skill. I also have experience de-escalating stressful situations, redirecting attention when needed, and handling confusion, agitation, or behavioral changes. As a caregiver, I offer respite care, transportation, and help with errands. I also provide personal care, light housekeeping, and meal preparation. I follow the family's preferred communication method, and I always aim to create a comfortable environment for those in my care. I have some college education and current CPR and First Aid certifications. I have a car and am comfortable with pets. Ultimately, I want to provide reliable care and support families.
